When an author submits a manuscript for publishing with us, upon acknowledgement of acceptance for publication, the Authors agree that the Niger Delta Journal of Library and Information Science (NDJLIS) is allowed to publish their article. Accordingly, the following agreements come into play:
- Authors of published works in the Niger Delta Journal of Library and Information Science (NDJLIS) retain the copyright of their articles.
- The author(s) approve that the Niger Delta Journal of Library and Information Science (NDJLIS) has a license to publish the article and identify it as the original publisher.
- The author(s) retains the broad re-use rights to their article content for future publications. And upon publication, the Niger Delta Journal of Library and Information Science (NDJLIS) will apply for a Creative Commons License permitting third parties to re-use the work for particular purposes.
Exceptions to copyright policy
There may be exceptions concerning copyright and licensing for articles previously published under policies different from the above. For instance, occasionally, the Niger Delta Journal of Library and Information Science (NDJLIS) may co‐publish articles jointly with other publishers, and different licensing conditions may then apply. However, access to these articles is free from fees or any other access restrictions in all such cases.
